[Television] Scream - Season 2, Episode 1: "I Know What You Did Last Summer."

*Spoilers*

So just like Scream 2 we started the episode where teens are in the cinema watching a movie based on the events that happened in the lives of the characters in season 1. Audrey works in the cinema and falls for a prank done by two teens from her school. They pretend to be the killer and chase her about, leading to the part where she stabs the ghostface. I never understood people doing pranks like this, they do it in the Scream franchise and you just think, people actually died. These are the lives of real people. Anyway, Audrey is inundated with texts stating how they 'know what she did last summer' - told you there was this feel about the series. So clearly she was some accomplice, she even got really defensive when Noah suggested that there was one, to which she snapped that there wasn't. These letters to Piper are more than just incriminating. Or is Audrey just one to stick in the 'it's not what it looks like' category?

Emma returns from a psychiatric ward I'm guessing after she had a massive breakdown in school after the murders. She returns home and the others throw a welcome home party for her. Things with Kieran are weird. They broke up and remained friends, but now she is back he is acting sketchy. She has these nightmares about a barn owned by Brandon's brother and she goes to visit it. I guess we will have to keep on watching to see where this ends up, because as she investigates with Brooke, she walks into the house opposite and there are pictures and news clippings of her everywhere, also there is the (presumed) killer.

Brooke and Jake are finally together but I am so upset that this had to end so quickly. I feel so bad for Jake. He was killed in such a brutal way. How awful for him. I will miss him, and poor Brooke is yet to find out.

There is a new Sheriff in town and with a new Sheriff comes a new son, Stavos - a horror nerd like Noah, cool. We are also introduced to new girl Zoe. She knows everything about her psychology class and her and Noah seem to have a bit of chemistry.

I love the Romero reference. Audrey tells Noah that there is a 'Romero-thon.' I am a big Romero fan, love his zombie films, I even met him and London Film and Comic Con. He's really cool.

Flicking through Netflix I have noticed that all the episodes are named after horror movies. What a really cool addition. I love horror movies, so I wonder if there's reference to them all in the episodes? Hopefully season 2 does season 1 justice as season 1 was absolutely incredible.
