[Television] Scream - Season 1, Episode 9: "The Dance."

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT AND I'LL TELL YOU WHY!
Okay so my blog is called 'And A Fiver Dollar Shake' and for MCM my boyfriend and I dressed up as Mrs Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega... so if you haven't figured out by now I am a HUGE Pulp Fiction fan. It's one of my favourite films and I love the whole Mia and Vincent story-line. SO WHEN I SAW THAT EMMA AND KIERAN WENT TO THE HALLOWEEN DANCE AS MIA AND VINCENT I FANGIRLED JUST A LITTLE BIT. To be honest I shouted "NO WAY" and rewound it about 6 times. I love it. That's so cool. I took the liberty of screen shotting it.

I did notice however, that Emma did not have the famous gold Chanel shoes... tut tut. But overall very impressed with her outfit. LOVED IT.
I also loved how Kieran managed to tie in a pony tail, and he had the earring, too. Shame he didn't have the bolo tie, as that's date night Vincent. Vincent with a tie is Vincent at work.

Anyway, back to the review.
*Spoilers*

We start out with a *1 Year Earlier* title going back to someone stealing files from Lakewood County Municipal Records. They also stole the infamous Brandon James mask. That security guy was absolutely crap! How did he not see that?

Noah suggests that Mr Branson chose his name because he merged the two words 'Brandon' and 'son' however he really isn't giving into pressure and maintains that he is innocent and does not know what they are talking about. Even when Emma went to see him. Emma understands the whole Brandon's son motive, but the spanner in the works is Rachel's staged suicide. Why would Branson do this, he allegedly killed off those in the blackmailing business (apart from Brooke) but what did Rachel know in order to be killed? This is the crucial question.

Brooke goes to stay with Jake, however, she notices her webcam turn on all by itself. Was this Jake? Or the yet-to-be-identified murderer? Not believing that Mr Branson is the murderer, Emma and Piper go to Brandon's mother to talk to her about Brandon. She is a bit senile but she says that "Brandon's boy" came to visit her as he had loads of questions about his father. After asking if his name was Seth, she said yes, ultimately putting Mr Branson back in the killer spotlight.

As this is happening, Audrey manages to find Rachel's password for the Cloud - all her videos that were previously wiped had been backed up onto the Cloud. Audrey said that Rachel filmed everything and tried to find some incriminating evidence. This is exactly what she had found. However, it was not Seth Branson that was on the film, it was that of pretty boy Kieran. He was seen to be pushing first victim Nina out of a bar, whilst giving Rachel a filthy look upon noticing her filming him. There we have it, a reason for the death of Rachel. She knew too much and had evidence. Not only was this compelling enough, Piper went back to Brandon's mother's house and showed her a yearbook picture of Mr Branson - she said that this was not the guy who came to her and instead she pointed at a picture of Kieran. I can't help but feel there is something off with Piper, though. She tried to throw Audrey under the bus at the vigil by saying incriminating things to Emma about her, and now the whole Kieran story? Seems odd. I don't know, just a hunch.

The Sheriff goes to a house to investigate where some of the calls to Emma started, it's here where he gets attacked by the killer. Low and behold, Kieran is late to the dance because he has something to do. Also weird. Audrey tells Emma of the video evidence and when Emma tells Kieran he gets defensive and leaves. This is when we find out about Piper going back to Brandon's mothers house. Emma tells Piper that Kieran has left and they proceed to try and find him. We know that Brooke is alone at her house and Audrey just left to go there, so I'm worried about their safety.

The episode ends with a video of the Sheriff flashing up on a screen at the dance. He looks severely beaten and bloody but he is still alive. The scene cuts to the Sheriff's station and there lays a dead police officer and you can hear the radio saying that Branson has escaped and he's "armed and dangerous." What is going on here then? Loads to be resolved!
