*Spoilers*
So Emma overhears her mother and the Sheriff discussing Rachel's death and the Sheriff decides to launch a murder investigation. Whilst eavesdropping Emma finds out that her mother isn't telling her the while truth and eventually finds out that her mother is actually Daisy (the girl Brandon was obsessed with) and is upset that her mother did not tell her.
I'm a little confused about Will and Jake - they are fighting over money they hid and they keep referring to Nina and about how they could go down for something concerning her... now whether or not this is her murder, I am unsure, but if it is her murder then I think it's too obvious. Apparently she had some blackmailing thing going on with them and she played them off of each other, even beyond the grave... weird. I think this story-line is intriguing me more than it should.
Why kill off Riley? I loved Riley and Noah, I love their little love story, and the way she was into cool stuff - stuff that I liked and things that Noah liked. I feel she had more potential than to be killed off like this. Her dying call to Riley was heartbreaking and I could feel myself getting emotional. I guess that is the sign of a good series though - I actually care about certain characters.
I'm getting slightly fed up of Brooke already. Not personally, but her story-line about sleeping with her teacher. It's all very seedy and the teacher is starting to make me cringe a little bit.
Overall, gutted about Riley as she was lovely, cool and a smart popular girl. Not like your usual, stereotypical airhead popular girls. But, again, drawn in and I am starting to feel for the characters, I'm sad for Noah for losing Riley and Brooke is annoying me. And, I remember most of their names, so that suggests that I have been glued to the show without my mind wandering through boredom.
