I feel bad for Emma, those hallucinations she is getting are awful. I didn't actually think we would see Will's head but we saw it more than enough in episode 8. Emma is trying to put on a front and act like she is okay in front of her friends and family, but, it is clear that she is definitely not okay. The doctor tries to give her pills to take the edge off and help her sleep but they are clearly not working. She is then sent into a ward after she has a bit of a breakdown. This is where I got confused, did her dad actually visit her or not? She said 'it wasn't real' so I'm guessing she meant the visit from her dad? It's here she remembers the conversation that her mother and father had the night he left. And it's here where her mother admits that just like Emma, her boyfriend (Emma's dad) had slept with her best friend. She was hurt, and angry and Brandon gave her a lift home from the bowling alley where he worked. One thing led to another and Maggie (Daisy) fell pregnant with Brandon's baby. She was 16, so her parents moved town with her and put the baby up for a closed adoption. Clearly, Emma's dad found out about this and walked out. This adds the question, is it Brandon and Daisy's child that has come back to commit these murders? 

However, Audrey and Noah are convinced that it's their teacher, who, in 2013 changed his name because he had an affair with an 18 year old student, but, she was found dead. He fled, and changed his name. Furthermore, Audrey and Noah found a phone (the one that was used to text Riley) and a knife in his classroom hidden in the vent. They then called the Sheriff.

We find out that the body that Brooke's father was hiding was in fact that of her mother's drug dealer. He had overdosed in their house in the spare room and her father didn't know what to do - being Mayor and all. Brooke rings her mum and we are assured that she is still alive. Brooke is clearly upset and ends up back in the arms of her teacher. They share a kiss in the school theatre and he hears a noise. Upon investigating this noise Brook is attacked by the killer and her arm is slashed. Unfortunately for her she is just in her underwear. The teacher appears, the killer disappears and the police show up, ultimately arresting Mr Branson because a. he is with a student in her underwear and b. she was almost killed.
