We finally got it! The whole "what's your favourite scary movie?" Well, a similar line anyway which was kind of cool.
*Spoilers... sort of*
Nina's boyfriend, Tyler, is still being hunted down as he is believed to be the murderer by the whole town. Little do they know, though, that he died along with Nina and they are focusing on the wrong guy.
I tell you what I am so gutted that Rachel got murdered. Bless her, beyond bullied for that video where she was kissing Audrey, she was clearly in a fragile state anyway when we were showed that she would cut herself. Her death reminds me of Sarah Michelle-Gellar's death in Scream 2 (I can't remember her character's name). She was thrown off a balcony, however, she wasn't hung. The killer tried to disguise it as a suicide by hanging her from a ceiling fan, but autopsy reports by Daisy (Emma's mother) show that her neck had snapped and this would not have happened if she hung herself.
This episode we are introduce to a lady called Piper, she is the voice behind a True Crime podcast which many of the students listen to. She is a reporter and tries to ask as many students as she can for their opinion on Nina and also their point of view of the murders an the Brandon story. She claims that she is trying to 'find the truth.' I guess Piper is the new Gale Weathers?
Finally, the geek gets the girl when it comes to Noah. He and Riley hit it off big time and she is overly interested in all of the same things he is. She flirts more, and tries to prompt dates, but poor Noah doesn't get the hint until they are on the football field kissing.
Will cheated on Emma a while ago apparently and the creep is trying to worm his way back in. As a drunken, upset, revenge act Emma kisses new boy and school hottie, Kieran who sheds light on Will's actual behaviour. He suggests he isn't genuine and basically blows a hole in Will's whole sob story.
After this we get the whole scary movie call - loved this addition.
Overall, great episode and I am still left curious. The episodes are on for 45 minutes and I thought that I had ages left. When I looked I had 5 minutes to go - which shows how addictive this series is, I sat through 40 minutes and it felt like 10.
